UNCG Preacher

Thanks again to Josh Strickland for these photos.

I would say this dude just needs to get laid but...

Being a bleeding heart, I do appreciate the message on this poster.

Glad to know what Jesus came to save for.

A drive through crucifiction in Burlington, NC

This was an event held by a local Methodist Church in Burlington. You drive through the church's parking lot, and you view different scenes of Jesus' crucifixion. Here are photo's of the different scenes, and a very short video at the bottom of the scene where Jesus was being whipped and forced to carry the cross by the Romans.

This was the first scene. It was of Jesus entering Jerusalem.

This is the scene of the last supper.

Apparently, this is Jesus praying in the garden. Interesting fact, this Jesus was played by a woman. To gender equality!

Jesus gets betrayed by a disciples, and the Roman ruler, Pontius Pilate, orders him to death.

Yep, carrying the cross and being whipped

I learned something. Jesus was hanged with two other people! That is why the crosses on hills are often shown in threes.

Guard standing guard over Jesus' tomb.

Oh goodness! The tomb is open!!!

Jesus totally came to some people after dieing while they were eating! Jesus is the real miracle worker!

Yeah, this is Jesus ascending to heaven. True story...it was witnessed by his disciples.

Here is the video

For those in the Piedmont Triad area, you can go see the drive through crucifixion tomorrow, Saturday April 3rd, 8:00-9:30pm. Location and such can be found here.

This is not related to the crucifixion, it was just a church with a sign that I thought had a decent, if not ironic message.

Oldies but goodies

Here are some pictures from Wakulla County Florida that my sister sent in. Wakulla County is immediately to the south of Leon County, which is where Tallahassee is, where both Sabrina and I are originally from.
